Abstract
This paper examines the impact of remote work on employee productivity, a subject that has gained significant attention in recent years, particularly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. By analyzing existing literature and conducting surveys, the study aims to determine whether remote work leads to an increase or decrease in employee productivity. The findings reveal that remote work has a mixed impact, with positive effects linked to flexibility, work-life balance, and reduced commuting time, while challenges such as isolation, distractions, and communication barriers can negatively affect productivity. The paper concludes with recommendations for organizations to leverage remote work effectively while mitigating its potential downsides.
