Abstract
Road accidents are frequently caused by sleepy driving, therefore putting in place a system with an alarm to warn them may help avoid accidents, save money, and alleviate suffering. Unfortunately, present approaches have limitations because of things like bad illumination that affects the accuracy of picture processing. Researchers are investigating and evaluating several techniques to increase sleepiness detection sensitivity and accuracy to address this. One interesting method includes tracking the driver's eye area continually and determining their level of tiredness before sounding an alert. Other approaches involve the use of sensors to monitor breathing and heart rate, or machine learning algorithms to study driving behavior. The ultimate objective is to create a dependable system that can identify driver sleepiness and avoid fatigue-related accidents.
