Abstract
Differential equations originate from the mathematical formulation of a great variety of problems in science and engineering. In this paper, we discussed the application of Linear Differential Equations to series circuits. First we formulated the problem mathematically by applying Kirchhoffs voltage law, thereby obtaining a differential equation. Then we solved the equation and interpreted the solution which finds the current at time t>0 ,in terms of the quantities involved in the problem and also graphically
